"I was nervous about getting my first root canal. I had some bad experiences with fillings at other dentists. Plus, the nerve of the infected tooth was curved, so I thought an endodontist would be needed. I was especially apprehensive because Dr. Ryu didn't offer nitric oxide for pain - but it wasn't needed! The procedure went smoothly and only took about an hour. The most painful part of the procedure was getting a few tiny shots in my gums. I've had fillings that were way more painful!
